Sheet Metal Materials
Mild Steel / Carbon Steel
Mild Steel / Carbon Steel is economical but hard metal used in heavy quantity in sheet metal fabrication owing to high weldability, hardness, and flexibility. They are available in grades such as SPCC, Q235, and Q345, and are employed in machinery, cabinet, and structural components. Carbon steel possesses superior tensile strength and may be powder coated or galvanised to increase corrosion resistance. Its mechanical properties and cost make it the initial choice for use in the automotive sector, machines, and building construction.
- Mill Lead Time: As fast as 3 days
- Finishes: Raw, galvanized, powder-coated, painted
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel is a strong metal that is resistant to corrosion and has extensive application in sheet metal work due to its mechanical properties being high, durability, and good looks. The most widely used grades are SUS 304, SUS 316, and SUS 430, which have many applications in the medical industry, food processing, motor vehicles, and manufacturing sectors. Stainless steel is also more resistant to rust and oxidation due to which it is the most appropriate choice for tough applications. The surface of stainless steel can be polished, brushed, or passivated in order to enhance its finish and hardness.
- Mill Lead Time: As fast as 3 days
- Finishes: Raw, brushed, polished, passivated
Aluminum & Aluminum Alloys
Aluminum & Aluminum Alloys are light, corrosion-resistant metals with extensive application in sheet metal forming due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and conductivity. Some of the most commonly used grades include 1060, 5052, and 6061, and all three are extremely well suited for use in automotive, aerospace, electronic, and industrial industries.Aluminum may be anodized, powder-coated, or brushed for appearance and surface hardness, is readily formed, wear-resistant, and inexpensive. For all of these reasons, aluminum is a great option for precision sheet metal components.
- Mill Lead Time: As fast as 3 days
- Finishes: Raw, anodized, powder-coated, brushed
Copper & Copper Alloys
Copper & Copper Alloys are higher conductivity, corrosion-free metals widely applied in sheet metal manufacturing due to their high electrical and thermal conductivity. Example grades include T2 (pure copper), H62 (brass), and C510 (phosphor bronze), used for electronic components, heat exchangers, and for decoration. Copper alloys are stronger, machinable well, and show good wear resistance and are used for industrial and precision application. It can be plated, polished, or brushed to provide high durability and appearance.
- Mill Lead Time: As fast as 3 days
- Finishes: Raw, plated, polished, brushed
Coated Metals
Coated Metals are wear-resistant, rust-resistant materials that are widely utilized in sheet metal production to supply surface protection, appearance, and durability. Common forms include pre-painted steel, electro-galvanized steel (SECC), and galvanized steel (SGCC) and are used in automotive, construction, and appliance applications. Coated metals offer improved weather resistance, wear protection, and reduced maintenance and are highly suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Mill Lead Time: As fast as 3 days
- Finishes: Galvanized, electro-galvanized, powder-coated, painted
