Production Management

At Formioo, production planning begins with mold status, machine capacity, and order priority. Once an order is confirmed, we check mold availability, assign suitable injection machines by tonnage and material compatibility, and lock in time slots using a weekly production schedule. This hands-on scheduling method minimizes idle time and ensures we maximize daily output across all active projects.

Our production team runs daily task reviews and work-in-progress tracking, while shift supervisors handle schedule adjustments in case of delays. We also pre-stock common resins like ABS, PP, and PC to avoid material procurement delays. For repeat orders, validated process parameters and mold settings are stored and reused, further reducing setup time. All of this ensures we can deliver on time.

Our production system supports rapid switching between small-batch prototyping and large-volume production. We often start with short runs of 100–1,000 pieces for pilot testing, then scale up to millions once the design is approved. Whether it’s 2 cavities or 32 cavities, we balance efficiency and part consistency, even when handling multiple orders in parallel.

Production Management

Rigorous Quality Control from Design to Delivery

At Formioo, quality is embedded into every stage of the manufacturing process, from initial design to final shipment. During the design and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) phase, our engineering team conducts mold flow analysis and feasibility reviews to identify potential risks before production begins. In the tooling stage, we apply precision CNC machining, EDM, and fit testing to ensure the mold structure meets exact design tolerances.

Throughout molding production, we implement real-time process monitoring and perform regular in-process inspections, including visual checks, dimensional measurements, and part-to-CAD comparisons. For critical parts, we use precision tools such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), pin gauges, and digital calipers to ensure tight tolerance control.

Before delivery, each batch undergoes a final quality audit, covering appearance, mechanical performance, packaging integrity, and traceability documentation. This end-to-end quality control approach ensures that every part we deliver meets your exact specifications, consistently and reliably.

Process Control

At Formioo, we provide a wide range of injection molding processes, including standard molding, insert molding, overmolding, and gas-assisted molding etc. For parts requiring added precision or post-processing, we also support CNC machining, ultrasonic welding, surface finishing, and manual assembly. Each process is matched to the product’s geometry, material, and end-use application to ensure manufacturing reliability from day one.

Every project follows a documented workflow, from mold setup and material loading to process parameter tuning and production start-up. Key parameters such as injection pressure, cycle time, and cooling duration are recorded and locked in after sample approval. For repeat orders, these settings are recalled to ensure consistent quality across batches, while first-article inspection (FAI) and in-process QC checks are used to verify every run.

We perform preventive mold maintenance based on shot count and material type. After each production run, our team inspects, cleans, and stores the mold with proper lubrication and protection. If wear or dimensional deviation is detected, we perform corrective maintenance or part replacement before the next use. This ensures long-term mold stability, reduces unplanned downtime, and safeguards part consistency over time.
